Read Across America Day
Events
Through engaging stories, high quality books, and cozy reading spaces, we help spark a lifelong love of reading while building empathy, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.
Read Across America
Each year, Early Connections proudly participates in Read Across America, a national celebration of literacy. We will celebrate Read Across America on March 6, 2026, by welcoming community leaders into our classrooms to read with children and share the joy of books. Leading up to March 6, there are many ways to get involved and support young readers in our community.
Purchase Books
Purchase a book to support Early Connections’ Books-at-Home Program, ensuring children receive books they can keep, cherish, and build their home libraries with. Every book purchased goes directly into the hands of a child.
Together, we can ignite a passion for reading and open doors to a brighter future.
Read with us
Commit to reading in one of our classrooms on a regular basis. Sharing stories with children builds connection, confidence, and joy — and shows young learners that their community cares about their love of reading.
